1. Install the Claude desktop app for Mac or Windows and sign in on a paid plan.
2. Switch to the Cowork tab.
3. Pick the folder Claude may work in. It can only see that folder.
4. Describe the job and the file you want back, then let it run. Check the output in the folder.
